# Hey, I'm Panagiotis.

Panagiotis Chatzikonstantinidis
Παναγιώτης Χατζηκωνσταντινίδης

Web developer in Thessaloniki. My head runs about ten threads at once. You can see nine of them.

Pick one.

- **Websites** (since 2019): Seven years of e-shops and business websites at a Thessaloniki agency. Hand-written templates, no page builders. [Seven years of client sites](https://panagiotisck.com/#work)
- **E-shops** (since 2019): Catalogues, carts, checkouts and payment gateways. Mostly Joomla and VirtueMart.
- **Standards** (every project): W3C, WCAG accessibility, PageSpeed. Not an extra, the default.
- **AI readiness** (now): Whether Google and AI assistants can actually read a site. I built a tool that checks it.
- **C# and .NET** (learning): Writing Aion by hand to learn .NET properly. My first language was VB.NET, back in 2009. [Aion on GitHub](https://github.com/pchatzikonstantinidis/Aion)
- **Rust** (this site): The program that builds this page.
- **Servers** (my own): Linux, Plesk, Cloudflare, DNS. I run my own server because I like knowing where my code lives.
- **Games** (off the clock): Not a skill, not connected to anything. Just fun. Click it again and see.
- **Coffee** (daily): Fuel for every other thread.

## How I work

Four rules I keep coming back to.

1. **Reasons, not habits.** I want to know why something is done a certain way before I do it again.
2. **Honest about the gaps.** "I don't know yet" is a better answer than a confident guess.
3. **Build the missing tool.** When the check I need doesn't exist, I write it.
4. **AI drafts, I decide.** I use AI every day. What ships is still my call.

## Writing

First notes are on the way.

## Work

- **AI-Readiness Audit**: Can AI assistants read your e-shop? Two reports from the same data, one for the developer, one for the owner. (AI readiness, Standards, C# and .NET)
- **[Aion](https://github.com/pchatzikonstantinidis/Aion)**: Project management in .NET, written by hand to learn it properly. (C# and .NET)
- **Seven years of client sites**: E-shops and business websites at a Thessaloniki agency, built to pass W3C and accessibility checks. (Websites, E-shops, Standards)

## Still reading? We'd probably get along.

Every thread on this page ends up here. Start one with me. I answer every email, and if you're ever in Thessaloniki, let's grab a coffee.
